  • General guidance on follw-up DOE for DSDs and resources?

Hi I am a newbie in DOE and using JMP. I have pharmaceutical formulation that involves 5 continuous factors and 4 responses to optimize. I have used DSDs to identify the design space that I want to further explore and optimize the formulation. I fit the model after acquiring the data and remove the effect that is not important (F5 and all quadratic forms and interactions). By maximizing the desira...

  • Why the Custom designs don't have a Pattern column in the design table?

The design tables from the Classical design platform usually have a pattern column, which contains entries that summarize the run in the given row, like "+--", "000", or "+++". Why the Custom designs don't have a pattern column in the design table?

  • Warning message for Gaussian Process: Likelihood estimation algorithm did not converge

Dear JMP experts,I recently conducted a space-filling DOE with Latin Hypercube design of 700 runs. I then use the Gaussian process to fit the data. The 'Actual by Predicted Plot' looks very nice and most of the data lies perfectly along the 45-degree line. However, I got a warning message says:Warning: Likelihood estimation algorithm did not converge. Please find attached the Gaussian process Mode...

  • DOE, balanced custom design

hello community , I'm trying to make a balanced DOE design on 2 factors : A at 3 levels and B at 31 levels. I want my facto B to be replicated  ~ 1.41  times ( the 31 levels of my factor B  are tested on each level of facot A and 13 of them are tested twice for each level of factor A).I want the DOE platform to design me an experiment were I have the same number of run for each level of my factor ...

  • How copy/past factors from excel in design of experiments

Good morning everyone, As novice in JMP, i am looking for a way to copy/past a long list of factors from excel in Jump, optimal design, without having to manually write one by one. Is there a solution in Jump, or maybe with VBA or Python ?I put a screenshot in attachment if it's not clear.Version of JMP : 16.1.0Thanks

  • DoE with two-choice experiments, continuous response variable

We want to rank the preference  of population of animals for n different recipes. Recipes are tested in two-choice assays, where groups of over 100 individuals can choose one choice or the other. Preference for the group is computed as a preference index, a continuous variable that is between -1 and 1. Is there an experimental design that would help reduce the number of combinations to test in ord...

  • Sub-sampling data analysis in JMP

In Biology (Plant Sci. and Agriculture) usually we have sub-sampling data for replicates. It's very difficult to analyze these data in commonly use Stat S/W (SPSS/Minitab) because MSS(Error) is calculating wrongly.  Without taking averages of samsamples, the easiest S/W for this is using JMP and I need some assistance for this. I've found very useful Youtube video about subsampling in JMP  (CRD: S...
