  • Associative array to rename data table columns

Hi JMP Community,   I have a data table (dt1) with many columns and would like to rename them. They are coded with strange names. But, I have another data table (dt2) with only two columns :Name and :Code. Each row in dt2 has the meaningful name that is associated with the code.   I know how to do this with for loops, but I'm trying to learn something new and hoping to do it through an Associative...

  • How to do text justification in a TextBox with Markup?

I noticed that if text box has Markup enabled, then Text Justification property is ignored. I want the text to be right justified, and it just doesn't work. But as soon as I turn off markup - it aligns correctly. Is it a bug?Is there a way to justify marked up text using markup?

  • Font colour changes when spinning a surface plot

I've produced a surface plot using a predicted formula from a definitive screening design. I'd like to present my plot in a presentation with the plot rotating. To do so I followed this thread: https://community.jmp.com/t5/Discussions/Spinning-a-Scatterplot-3D/td-p/6510 The advice here was originally for a scatter plot, however I got it working using the same line of code:Set Spin( 0.01, 0, 0.01, ...

  • Response Screening - Multiple model effects?

I am trying to analyze a medium / large proteomics dataset (3350 proteins) using the response screening analysis.  The problem is that I have multiple model effects to take into consideration - I have treatment vs control, but I also have samples from multiple days to consider, but I clearly can't run this as a fit model.   Is it possible to take both treatment and day into consideration using JMP...

  • JSL Compare value in row to the next row.

Hello,I am trying to use "FOR" and "IF" to create a condition column. I have this table and I want the "Con" column to indicate if the age in the row after is lower then the current row. if yes "1" if not "0"NameAgeConDavid230Bari261James120Lora140 This is what I have: (doesn't work)dt<< New Column( "Con", Formula( For( i = 1,i <= N Row( dt ), i++, If(:Age[i] >= :Age[i+1] , "0", "1", )))); Your he...

  • Display a stopwatch counter (parallel with another JSL action)

Does anyone know how to display a time counter (say 1 sec intervals using a wait(1) ), but while another JSL action is taking place?  So this stopwatch counter would display like 1, 2, 3,.... until that other action finished like pulling data from a database.  This stopwatch counter would be running in parallel in this case and keep running while waiting on the data pull to complete.  Is parallel ...

  • Interpretation of a Factorial Design with binary outcome

    Hello!

I am struggling with interpretation of factorial design with 4 elements. Before I tried experiments with 2 elements, and results were straightforward. Here in the attachment you can see my jmp dataset file with the experiment. As a result of removing non-significant elements I came to a conclusion that only C and В are significant with negative effect.
    Is my conclusion correct?
    Rsquare value is...

  • Sub-sampling data analysis in JMP

In Biology (Plant Sci. and Agriculture) usually we have sub-sampling data for replicates. It's very difficult to analyze these data in commonly use Stat S/W (SPSS/Minitab) because MSS(Error) is calculating wrongly.  Without taking averages of samsamples, the easiest S/W for this is using JMP and I need some assistance for this. I've found very useful Youtube video about subsampling in JMP  (CRD: S...
