  • Control Chart Builder: Bring markers to the front

Hi, We recently converted our control charts to a control chart builder.  What we see now is that our markers are underneath the limit and average line, which makes it hard to see.  Is there an easy way to get them on top of these lines? This is what we get: This is what we want: I did notice that if I place a line manually it will go underneath the markers: So worst case we could calculate and pl...

Hello, The command below works in JMP 17, and allows me to retrieve the label of a legend. But since JMP 18 it no longer works, and I get an error message instead. Does anyone know how to fix this? Names Default To Here( 1 ); dt = Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA/Big Class.jmp" ); gb = Graph Builder( Variables( X( :height ), Y( :weight ), Overlay( :sex ), Color( :age ) ), Elements( Points( X, Y, ...

  • Filtering a datatable with a custom filtering application

    Hello All,

I am building an application/dashboard with a bunch of reports inside it. At the end I would like to give users the option to make a "query" of the main datatable and save it if they have a use for it later on.

Currently, I have a button which opens another window and prompts the user to select filtering columns (from a preselected list).
Once they select them, they press another button wh...

  • Display image on hover (but not downloading image to table)

Hi, I have some several GB files where I have a column, "link" to a unique image for that row.Today I hover over a point and see my link and can click on it to open the image in a browser.I've tried creating a new column "Image", labeled it, and set formula to New Image(:link)but this downloads every image then creates a ridiculously large file.

My goal is to hover over a point or click on a point ...

  • Get a question box to adjust y-axis (JMP v. 16)

Hi all, I want to make variability charts through my dataset. Here I have written the script below which does that. However, I would like to have a box show up and ask for y-axis limits for each of these charts. Then I can write min and max for the y-axis in the question box and it will adjust to this. Is that possible to do in JSL?  Names Default To Here(1); sd = currentdatatable(); Fitmod = {}; ...

  • JSL fetching records 3x from SQL database

Hiya guys!  I'm querying a boat load of historical data and I've noticed that the fetching rows pop up counts up to about 3x the number of rows that load (number of rows that load is approx. correct).  I'm getting data 1 month at a time (it breaks if I ask for more) and the data logger runs just over 1Hz which means I should get around 2.5e6 rows at a time but the system says it fetches 7.5e6 rows...
