  • Are there ways to populate a 5x5 matrix with values 101..505 without using loops?

    Surely there are ways!  Loop version: ii = 1::5; jj = 1::5; m = j(5,5); foreach({i}, ii, foreach({j}, jj, m[i,j] = i*100 + j ) ); m; #=> [ 101 102 103 104 105, 201 202 203 204 205, 301 302 303 304 305, 401 402 403 404 405, 501 502 503 504 505];Multiple solutions encouraged, if you have them! I'm trying to "get fluent" in matrices.

  • How To Find User Database Credentials Prior To Running JMP Script in JMP 16

    Hello, I'm running into a problem with sharing the JMP scripts I create across my organization. The problem arises from how the credentials I use to connect to our SQL database are different than the credentials others use to connect to the same database. For example, a query which I can run on my machine to connect to the database "Database" on the server "SQLServer", will look like this:   Open ...

  • Stacked table will be very large warning.

    Hello everyone, Sometimes while I run the automated JSL I get the following warning: "The new stacked table will be very large. ... Do you wish to proceed?" The annoying part is that it interrupts the scripts, and I have to manually press Continue. Is there a way to suppress this kind of warnings so they do not pop out? Thank you everyone.
