  • Broadcasting Axis Properties Across Process Screening

Hi Folks,   Not asking a question here, but prompting a solution I've found for when you want to add axis settings from one chart to many others in the process screening platform. For example, I want to take this customisation I've done on this chart in the top left and add it to all the others: If you right click the graph axis (say the X) and 'Copy Axis Settings' then run the script below, it w...

  • Interactive graphs in JMP Live Dashboard?

Hi,  I am trying to publish interactive graphs as part of a dashboard and publish on JMPLIVE.  The graphs remain interactive in the dashboard but not after publication.  The dashboard contains two different graphs.  Any ideas on this?

  • combine Pie with other graphs?

Can I combine Pie graphs with other graphs?
    2 problems:
    - Pie uses "X" as input for the categories - not Overlay or Y - this interferes with other data on the x axis
    - Pie plots are placed at x=0, so the other x axes have to be centered around 0  (this is why I subtracted the median) Names Default to Here(1); dt = Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA/Big Class Families.jmp" ); Graph Builder( Transform Column( "pi...

  • "Response must have at least two levels" comes up when adding a frequency in logistic regression

Hi, I'm trying to run a logistic regression with species presence/absence data as the response variable (across several years), and various environmental conditions (e.g. temperature) as predictors. I also have abundance data (number of individuals counted each day when the species was present, zero if none observed, null if no survey was conducted), which I would like to include as a frequency. I...

  • Help with PPK on one-sided data which includes zeros

I’m trying to calculate an appropriate PPK for data with the following criteria: Data lies between 0 and +InifinityA significant portion of the data is exactly 0, and this represents an actual true 0Has an Upper Spec limit onlyHeavily Skewed The distribution should be an appropriate distribution for the data. What’s the best way to get JMP to do this?

  • Use an item from a list in a JMP column formula

I seem to be able to pick out the first item in a list of columns and use that in a transpose function but the same approach does not work when used in a JMP column formula.  Divider doesn't evaluate as a column name in a formula but it does in a transpose function   Divider = yVars[1]

  • Best practice in FDE when the main variation is a shift along X (phase variation) rather than a change in shape?

Hello JMP community, I have been testing Functional Data Explorer on a synthetic data set where each curve is essentially the same motif translated along the X-axis, with little intrinsic change in amplitude or shape. In this situation, my impression is that the resulting FPCA/FPC basis becomes increasingly oscillatory, and the physical interpretation becomes difficult. In other words, one simple...

  • Surface Plot resets between filter selections

This is a new bug, or at lease JMP never behaved like this before.

I set up a surface plot of an average of individuals and adjust the viewing angle to show relevant features of the surface.
I have a local filter selecting for individuals, when I click on the individual 1, looks great, click on individual 2, looks great, click on individual 3, it completely resets the view - losing the "apples to a...

  • JMP Window ordering and confusion

How do I get newly opened JMP files to appear as the top window in my apps. How many times have I mistaken the newly opened for the currently opened. Very, VERY annoying.
