repeated measures multivariate analysis

What inspired this wish list request?

A few of us have been pitching work-arounds for this here: https://community.jmp.com/t5/Discussions/multivariate-data-with-a-repeated-measures-design/m-p/63267...

I wonder if this implementation is not as daunting as it would seem. Could features of the mixed-model platform, namely specifying the repeated subject, be incorporated into the partial least squares platform?

What is the improvement you would like to see?

Why is this idea important?

This is strange: it cut off the most important part of my request. To my knowledge, the multivariate options under Fit Model cannot handle a repeated measures design (would be no problem if there was a single Y). If I put in "time" into the model under MANOVA or partial least squares, that doesn't accommodate the repeated measures nature. I am wondering if there is any way to specify repeated subjects for such multivariate analyses. I think this will be a more commonly used tool in the future as more researchers adopt 'Omics-scale approaches and want to profile suites of molecules in the same subjects tracked over time.
