This Add-In allows you to define and check the physical units of your columns and then convert them to different units. For example, define a column in milliliters/hectare and then convert it, along with all its column properties, to floz/acre.

 

JMP already has an existing Units Column Property that documents these physical units and shows them in the Data Table and on graphs. This Add-In extends that to allow automatic extraction of units from imported data, easy management of many columns' units at once, verification of units, and unit conversion.
 
It adds a menu and toolbar with five tools and help. The Unit Conversion Add-In is currently available for JMP 18 only since it uses the new JMP 18 Python integration with the Pint Python package.

Evan: Have been trying out the addin. One issue we've seen is that the original units must match known units exactly. Example: DEGF; DegF (degF) aren't recognized. Same with KLB/HR (klb/hr)
What is the best way to manage these 'recodes'?
