sample size and power for linear mixed models

Hello! It seems that there have no built-in options to directly calculate the sample size and power for linear mixed models in JMP. Then, how could I do such kind of power analysis? Thank you.

Re: sample size and power for linear mixed models

Hello @Adele ,

One idea is to use the Simulate feature. I think the following presentation will be helpful for you.

If you are using JMP Pro 17, you can use an option "Save Simulation Formula" under "Save Columns" in Mixed Model personality. This column can be used in the Simulate utility as a column to switch to.
