T test

Hi everybody ,

I just want to know if the jmp  SW built-in functions allow you to specify whether the datasets are heteroscedastic (different σ) or homoscedastic (equal σ).

What are the steps i need to do to determine if both the populations have equal varaiance or not?

Thanks

It is an option under the Fit Y by X(Oneway) analysis

Re: T test

Adding to Jim's help, choose Pooled t if the variances are not different or t Test if they are different.
