Rename column Max(Max(date))

How to rename column Max(Max(date)) to "date"?

I tried:

1. :Max(Max(date)) << Set Name ("date");

2. :Name (Max(Max(date)) ) << Set Name ("date");

3. Column( dt, Max(Max(date))) << Set Name( "date" );

3. Column( dt, :Name (Max(Max(date))) ) << Set Name( "date" );

But none of these works

Re: Rename column Max(Max(date))

Hi,

When your column name has parentheses or any other special characters, your best bet is the following syntax:

Column (dt, "Max(Max(date))" << Set name ("date");

Note the quotes before and after the column name.

Re: Rename column Max(Max(date))

I like using same syntax as @Thierry_S suggest (Column(dt_ref, "colname")) but if you want to use the colon syntax

:"Max(Max(date))" or even better would be :"Max(Max(date))"n. Using Name() is deprecated syntax for ""n. For some additional information regarding names see Names and JSL Rules for Names .
