Re: How to get my computer Locale date format with JSL?

Here is the entry from the Scripting Index that shows an example of how to set the format for a column.

setformat.PNG

Now if the issue is not how to set a format, but specifically, what is the syntax on how to set the Local date format or local date time format, then the easiest way to get that, is to interactively set the column to the format you want to use, and then use the "Get Format" message

getformat.PNG

dt=current data table();
x=dt:event date<<get format;

to get the syntax of the desired format

Format( "Locale Date Time h:m:s", 23, 0 )

and then use the results to set the format in JSL
