  • Select rows where column values match items in an arbitrary list

    Hi,

I am trying to write some JSL code to select rows from a table where the value of a column matches some values, which are stored as a list. However, the list may have an arbitrary number of items in it.

I have tried the code at the bottom of the message (where b1 is the list containing my values to be selected, :Lot is the column to compare against and dt2 is the data table to be selected from) ...

  • Delimited multiple response categorical data

Hi out there in JMP land! When selecting delimited multiple response data in the Categorical platform, is there a way the actual delimiters can be selected? I have a couple of responses that have commas in them and it is using them to delimit, effectively giving me more responses than I actually have. So I would like to deselect commas as a delimiter. Thanks and best regards, Greg

  • Customer quantile

Hello,    looking for the upper and lower cut off of exponential distribution and Weibull distribution, I could find custom quantile to designate the probability. Have a couple questions.   In the old jump version, saw it quantile feature allowing probability number to type, it is the same as custom quantile in JUMP 17. Seems like there is confidence level set as default value of 0.95, having trie...

  • propensity score IPTW

    I am a jmp pro18 user.
I would like to perform propensity score matching using the propensity score inverse probability weighting (IPTW) method.
I would like to find an IPTW add-in, but I was unable to find one. What should I do? I would be grateful if you could tell me.

  • Custom Tests in Mixed Model Personality?

Hi,   Are you able to calculate custom tests in the Mixed Model personality of fit model?   I know if I just have a random intercept, I can use the standard least squares personality and get custom tests that way. But let's say I have/need a more complex random effect structure but still want estimates of specific contrasts of my model, is there a way to get these in Mixed Model?   I have attached...

  • Exponential Distribution Tolerance Interval

Hello. Having one question, seen the old jump have quantile probability pop-up window feature to type probability to get the quantile number. Not seeing it in JUMP 17 anymore, can I ask if tolerance interval is the same replacing it?   Hoping to find the matching quantile based on the sigma value provided and corresponding probability. i.e. 6 sigma (0.999999999), 4.8 sigma (0.999999)   Selecting o...

May I ask a question: Regarding the "Model Sensitivity Profiler" in "Constant Stress ALT Design". The pre-estimated values have been set in the "Acceleration Model settings", and these set values cannot be modified. Besides, the values of "Approx. Fail Time for Setting 1" and "Approx. Fail Time for Setting 2" in the "Model Sensitivity Profiler" are also unchangeable. What is the significance of th...

  • Rows inclusion in PCA

Hello,   I am running a PCA on an NMR dataset that contains some missing values. This isn't due to an error—it's simply the nature of the data, as some samples do not show certain peaks.  I have noticed that when I include these parameters Y variables in the PCA and color the score plot by sample, some samples are missing entirely from the plot. It's not consistent—some samples with missing values...

  • Fit Life by X,Devalt.jmp,Parameter correlation

The JMP sample data file "Devalt.jmp" is included with the software. If you select the Weibull distribution" and perform the analysis using "Fit Life by X", the correlation between β0 and β1 in the results is -0.999188, indicating a very strong correlation. Is this acceptable? What impact does it have on the results, and is it significant? How can the robustness of this predictive model be evalua...
