Using JSL I routinely create multiple horizontal and vertical Overlay Plots using the H List Box() and V List Box() commands. I can see in Graph Builder how to create multiple horizontal line plots but can't seem to figure out how, and if, I can create both multiple horizontal and vertical line plots. Can this be done in GB?
Hi,Basically, I have script where I'm trying to return the row numbers of certain columns that contain a specific value. In my example, I have several columns where the value can either be a 1 or a 0. I'm trying to get the row numbers for any row that contains a zero regardless of which column its in. I can do this easily enough for one column using the following syntax:
selectedRows = datatable <<...
How to calculate range inside rows which I can solve by Graph Builder at the report platform but where/what is the formula for it?I would like to calculate the difference between 7,666,601.00 and 5,039,955.00...The number comes by a ColSum byVariable formula
/*I would like to control the decimal output for graph labels within JSL script.I need to set the number of decimal places displayed explicitly, as opposed to graph builder default.For Example: Increase decimal from 3 to 5.I have been unable to locate this control within Garph Builder Axis Settings or JMP Preferences.I assume the control command occurs within or just after the Label( "Value" ) c...

Hi All!I need to report 3 different structured data tables (budget, income, crm) in one report which urges me to call data from 3 different data tables. Is it possible?Let's say I need to make a formula ColSum of dt1,byvariable / ColMean dt2, byvarieble to beplaced at dt3 ?
brand new to jmp pro 11 and have a question after reading a bit of using jmp, discovering jmp, and ch 4 on cluster analysis from the book multivariate methods. i have a hierarchical dataset and am attempting to determine what each level's contribution is to the total variance. could someone please take a moment to get me started ? in great appreciation, jw
Hi,I'm a little bit confused by the explanation of "Relative Std Error of Estimate" in JMP documentationEvaluate Design WindowIt states that "The Relative Std Error of Estimate gives the ratio of the variance of a parameter’s estimate to the error standard deviation.", but looking at the formula given below that sentence it looks like to me that it should be "the ratio of the standard deviation of...
When analyzing trends in data (i.e. process monitoring) is there a way in JMP to analyze when exactly a shift started?Thank you,Agnès
Is there a way to control the formatting of the exported PowerPoint deck? The exported file needs so much clean up I am not sure if it saves any time over cutting and pasting. I made a simple journal from the big class data table and a 1 page journal turns into a 5 page PowerPoint. The resulting PowerPoint is attached.
A question came up regarding Point-Biserial correlation coefficient .. Here are the references that were cited. Here are the references:1. http://www.andrews.edu/~calkins/math/edrm611/edrm13.htm#POINTB)2. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Point-biserial_correlation_coefficientI am interested in knowing how this can be done in JMP.ThanksPrakash
Hi, I have a question regarding the post-hoc t-tests in JMP. I run a repeated measures ANOVA with one random and two fixed factors. The two-way interaction between the fixed factors is included. (Y=random(A) + A + B + A*B). Following a significant A*B effect, I use the 'effect details' option to do post-hoc t-tests, Bonferroni-corrected for the number of comparisons. But. When I chose 'detailed co...
How can I change the group means line color in the Variability Chart Platform? There is not an option to do so in the chart's Customize menu. Thanks!
I have a data set and use tabulate to summarize the data and publish in the exportable interactive HTML form (implementing in a website where exporting to excel does not help).However I am unable to do it. The bottom tabulate takes the mean of several rows and I need as an aggregate the sum of those means which should be 827102,270 or vica versaI could add the sum of rows and I would need the mean...
