How to use the Fourier transform function of JMP to fit a list of curve data to the most suitable sinusoid?

For example, in the attachment, I have obtained the "smooth" data of the second column by drawing the smooth line formula of the first column.
The effect of increased "smooth" is to determine the most appropriate sine wave period by repeatedly crossing the two curves.

Spec limits for process screening platform

Hello All,

I have a question regarding spec limits in process screening applications. For example, I have a metric for thickness of a part. The target is 0.7 with lower limit of 0.6 and upper limit of 0.8. Anything within these limits inclusively will pass. However, as shown from the plot below values of 0.8 are counted as fails. At the same time 0.6 are included as passes.

Is there a way to contro...

1) When a column is dragged to the first position inside a column group, it will be placed AFTER the column group.2) When the last entry of a column group is used to generate a new column, the new column will be generated after the column group. TS-00035674 (view in My Videos)

funny issue with column names

I was wondering about a script that did not do what it was supposed to do - not at all!! Just open the attached data table and run the script: THE_BUGCaption( "column \!"File Name\!" values: " || Char((current data table():file Name << Get values)); ) The result is surprising: Why not "A" and "B" ?

One can easily fix the script ...

But digging deeper, there is a quite surprising root cause ...plea...

Data Visualization in Virtual Reality

Has anyone considered or have any interest in visualizing JMP plots (e.g., 3D scatter, surface) in virtual reality? I know there are several immersive VR programs (Arthur, Virtualitics, NVIDIA Omniverse) that can handle data and images generated from other program and I was wondering if anyone has made any attempts to do the same with JMP. Would love to hear back from anyone interested.
