Hello everybody,When we increase the marker size of a Scatterplot 3D, the labels attached increase as well and it impacts the chart readibility. Is there a way to increase only the marker size? Thnaks in advance for your help!

  • saving graphs as PNG or JPEG

Hi, I have made a script which lets the user select an excel file, process it , add or formulates columsn to it, opens graph builder and plots it with local data filter. My question is: 1. How do I save graphs choosing the local data filter option using the script? For example, I have 2 local data filters, say Trimset(10, 100, 101, 110, 111, 1000, 11111) and formula(yes or no) and I need to plot gr...

  • Script to highlight a cell in a report

hello everyone....   I am performing contingency reports across a number of categorical X's towards a given Y (categorical) - where I like to highlight contingency table cells (from output report) based on conditions :    e.g. highlight if  count >=12 Cell Chi Square >=3.0  Would like to highlight the cell w/ some color (font color can also work, highlight is better) if it satisfies the given cond...

  • How to use the Fourier transform function of JMP to fit a list of curve data to the most suitable sinusoid?

For example, in the attachment, I have obtained the "smooth" data of the second column by drawing the smooth line formula of the first column.
The effect of increased "smooth" is to determine the most appropriate sine wave period by repeatedly crossing the two curves.
Of course, the original curve change is completely random, so it can only be required that the fitted sine wave can achieve the maxim...

  • Spec limits for process screening platform

    Hello All,

I have a question regarding spec limits in process screening applications. For example, I have a metric for thickness of a part. The target is 0.7 with lower limit of 0.6 and upper limit of 0.8. Anything within these limits inclusively will pass. However, as shown from the plot below values of 0.8 are counted as fails. At the same time 0.6 are included as passes.

Is there a way to contro...

  • Matched pair analysis for categorical survey responses before/after a treatment

Hi I have the results of a survey given both Before and After a treatment. For the continuous outcomes the Specialized Modeling -> Matched Pairs is straightforward to obtain paired t-tests, with the N = # of matched pairs. But I am struggling with the best way to test the categorical variables, esp. since there are unequal proportion for the Before and After survey responses, ex. 50 Before and 200...

  • Data Visualization in Virtual Reality

Has anyone considered or have any interest in visualizing JMP plots (e.g., 3D scatter, surface) in virtual reality? I know there are several immersive VR programs (Arthur, Virtualitics, NVIDIA Omniverse) that can handle data and images generated from other program and I was wondering if anyone has made any attempts to do the same with JMP. Would love to hear back from anyone interested.
