  • Parameter Estimates being zerod

    I am trying to analyze one of my experiments that was created in and I am having some trouble understanding the parameter estimates.  Depending on which interactions I choose to analyze ( i chose only up to 2 way interactions since this is a fractional factorial design) the parameter estimates either say unstable, zerod and in some other cases empty. I am hoping to et some clarification on why thi...

  • Principal Component Analysis: Should I use the extracted scores for each component or calculate my own (find average value for the items in the components)

    Hi there!I would like to know in which cases one should use the extracted scores for each compenent that the software provides and when one should calculate the scores manually instead (e.g. finding the average value of three items belonging to one component)I want to use the variables in a multiple regression. Thanks!

  • Is 'standard least squares' in JMP 'fit model' platform the same as Ordinary least squares?

    We are troubleshooting some inconsistencies in model fitting between JMP and python. One thing we've run into is that most of the python documentation refers to ordinary least squares, and I couldn't find anything in the JMP documentation referring ordinary least squares, in most places it is referred to as 'least squares' or 'standard least squares. A bit of semantic hunting across statsexchange ...

  • How to organize this non-standard form?

    Thanks Experts! I'll just sort it out the stupid way and see if there's a better way.dt = Current Data Table(); ca = "这"; Column( ca ) << Formula( If( Left( 是, 1 ) == "#", r = Row(); a = Substitute( 是, "#", "" ); ""; , b = Row() - r; If( a != "拉丁" | a != "拉丁" | a != "假名" | a != "數字、分數", Word( b, a, "、" ), a || Munger( 是, 3, 1 ) ); ) ); dt << run formulas; Column( ca ) << delet...

  • Ordinal logistische regression

    For our master's thesis, my partner and I are exploring a test to examine the influence of multiple ordinal variables (predictor X variables) on another ordinal dependent variable (Y variable). We have considered conducting an ordinal logistic regression for this purpose, but we are not entirely certain if it's the best approach for analyzing this data. It's worth mentioning that we aim to assess ...
