How to quantify the advantage of using JMP over other tools to convince the management to consider it for usage?

Dear community, we all know how great JMP is: efficient, interactive, powerful, ... How would you make others, mainly management (the team itself is interested) to consider using it? Especially when there are almost free available alternative software (incomparable with JMP) and exactly for that reason the management wants to continue going with it. Actual vs Predicted Residual Plot Apply to which types of fit personality

Hello! I have been seeing some mentions of an actual Actual vs. predicted residuals plot to help with data analysis. however when analyzing my data though jmp, this plot does not come up for me nor is it an option. The jmp site mentions that this usually pops up by default. Could this plot be unavailable to me due to my use of the nominal logistic fit

Principal Component Analysis: Should I use the extracted scores for each component or calculate my own (find average value for the items in the components)

Hi there!I would like to know in which cases one should use the extracted scores for each compenent that the software provides and when one should calculate the scores manually instead (e.g. finding the average value of three items belonging to one component)I want to use the variables in a multiple regression. Thanks!

Is 'standard least squares' in JMP 'fit model' platform the same as Ordinary least squares?

We are troubleshooting some inconsistencies in model fitting between JMP and python.
