  • Script for putting reports into tabs (Interactive HTML)

I know the JMP 12 Application Builder will be able to create containers as tabs like here:But I am unable to use application builder and I guess will never be able to use it efficiently (also I use Panel Boxes for each report so Application Builder cant detect it to put in tabs anyway). Is there a way of scripting this with with the actual JMP 11.2.1 Mac?If not what will be the script for JMP 12?Th...

  • Does JMP have a SumIf equivalent in Column Formula Editor?

I will explain what I am trying to achieve with an example   IDValueSum151316132993111213     I have a column with a bunch of IDs, they can repeat. Then a have a second column with different values for those IDs.   On the 3rd column, I am trying to have a formula to sum all the Values from all the rows that have the same ID as the current row. For Row 1 we have, ID = 1, so 5+6+2= 13   Any ideas on...

  • What does JMP need

Specially with 600k rows and working with complex 30x30 tabulates JMP starts bleeding with my actual laptop (Mid 2010 MacbookPro) and it seems the time has come to purchase a new one. But what does JMP need really to run fast and smooth? What is the most important spec of a laptop which JMP really takes advantage? Is it Processors Cores? Is it Processor Speed? Is it L2 Cache? Is it RAM Speed? Is it Am...

  • keyboard shortcut to rerun last dialog box used

    Hello,
Is there a keyboard shortcut to return to the dialog box you used most recently. Basically I am trying to find a quick and easy way to rerun your most recent analysis if you want to modify the settings and try it again.
    Thanks

  • Setting both axis to the same range

The default range setting in Y by X graphs is to show the full range of the data independently in x and y.  This is fine, but I have a special condition where I an plotting some residual errors in the x and y direction and I would like the graphs to have the same range in both x and y.  The effect I am trying to achieve is that if the errors are normally distributed in each direction then the resi...

  • Mixture DOE for binary repsonse

Hi All,I need advice with setting up a DoE.The goal of the DoE is to build a (logistic regression) model for a binary response (y) depending on five continuous (x1, x2, x3, x4, x5) variables. The five variables need to add up to 1, hence a mixture response design may be ideal. The response as mentioned is pass/fail depending on the variables combination. In addition, there are constraints on some ...

  • PowerPoint Export of Journal

Is there a way to control the formatting of the exported PowerPoint deck?  The exported file needs so much clean up I am not sure if it saves any time over cutting and pasting.  I made a simple journal from the big class data table and a 1 page journal turns into a 5 page PowerPoint. The resulting PowerPoint is attached.

  • What is the format for parameters for the Random Normal Mixture?

    Suppose I want mean1 = 20, Mean2 = 40,  SD1 = 10, SD2 = 10, Probability1 = 0.8, Probability2 = 0.2.  How do I put these numbers in vectors for the "meanvec", "sdvec" and "probvec"?

  • Degrees of freedom in post-hoc t-tests

Hi, I have a question regarding the post-hoc t-tests in JMP. I run a repeated measures ANOVA with one random and two fixed factors. The two-way interaction between the fixed factors is included. (Y=random(A) + A + B + A*B). Following a significant A*B effect, I use the 'effect details' option to do post-hoc t-tests, Bonferroni-corrected for the number of comparisons. But. When I chose 'detailed co...
