  • Beginner question - interpreting logistic regression results

Hello, I'm very new to stats analysis and have what's probably a very basic question.. I'm having trouble interpreting the results of a logistic regression analysis I've done with some simple data. I have a dataset of oak trees in two different forest types and am asking how size and forest type affect fate (undamaged vs. damaged) after a hurricane event. So, Y = fate, X = size (continuous variabl...

  • How do I get a gradient background in graph builder

I want to create a scatter plot with 9 squares that looks like a McKinsey GE matrix, and plot data points in those squares. If the bottom left equals the lowest values and top right the highest value, I would like to have a gradient diagonal background, starting with red in the lower left corner and green in the top right with a yellow band in the middle (see attached jpg). In excel I can do this ...

  • Fit Model Results Issue

JMP 17: I have a few general questions about the results I obtained from a Fit Model platform analysis. I am attaching my data set. I have one response continuous variable, Thickness and four categorical factors that were modulated, two levels each. Thickness was used as the Y Variable and all four Factors (3, 4, 5 & 6) were moved into the Construct Model Effects area by selecting Macro > Factoria...

  • Graph Builder

I use JMP 17.1 and try to make a graph using the attached data by bringing the WLs data to the x-axis.1. If I only use 1 data row, the right graph is produced, however, if I select 2 (or more) rows, a starge graph appears.2. If I use columns 400-500 and all rows (and hide and exclude the other columns), the right graph is produced, but if I select all columns, a strange graph appears.I managed to ...

  • Interpreting Pairwise Tukey HSD t ratio in Zero-Inflated Poisson

I am measuring the number of errors made based on different independent variables: Filtering technique (Alphabetical, Relevance and Search) and Number of Items added (Add one at a time, or add multiple items to cart at once). As the number of errors made is 0 most of the time, I have opted to use the Zero Inflated Poisson Regression. When I per...
