  • Parallelism Testing for Groups of 4PL Curves

Hello All, I have what may be a very naïve question: is it valid to do parallelism testing on a group of independent curves (4PL in this case) at one time? I have a subset of potency data where all of the individual fits are good.  p values for both both F test and Chi square well below 0.05...so the test is indicating non-parallelism.  Now...what I am wondering, is this something that needs to be...

  • Question about Stability Analysis (ANCOVA) and the pooled MSE

Good day: I have a question about the Stability Analysis platform in JMP.      For those of you who are not familiar with Stability Analysis (in the Analyze/Reliability and           Survival/Degradation menu) in the Pharmaceutical Industry, in its basic form it is ANCOVA with one       categorical factor (batch) and one covariate (time). From a model selection perspective, and starting with the  ...

  • Custom DOE does not use the whole range of discrete numeric values

I am trying to create a custom DOE with 1 continuous factor and 2 discrete numeric factors (3 levels). One of the discrete numeric factors has values 1, 3 and 5. The generated table only uses the values 3 and 5 however. This does not seem to make sense to me from a experiment design POV. Even when changing it to a 4 level factors (0,1,3,5) only 3 and 5 are used. See JMP file for details. Is this ch...

  • How can I SUM specific columns in a Data Table if they exist?

I am trying to write a script to sum specific columns if they are present in the data table. Lets call them Col A, Col B, Col C, Col D. The problem is the data table does not always have all four columns which results in an error. I would like to write a script that can add Col A, Col B, Col C, and Col D that are present in the data table. Obviously I could just update the code for the ones presen...

  • How do I get percentage difference by function within JMP platform?

I'm working with a large dataset with a single continuous number column and then multiple nominal columns. I need to understand the % delta (or % difference) in the number column as a result of toggles in the nominal columns. With the Fit Y by X platform, I can readily add a function to provide the raw difference (as with the t test function), but I can find nothing for the % delta I'm needing. And...
