  • Dynamic Reference Line in Variability chart based on value in reference table

Hi all, I am wondering how I can reference a value in a specific column based on a reference column. The concept is just like VLOOKUP in Excel. I have a data table with a name and there is a unique threshold value for that specific name.  Variability Chart( Y( :Signal ), X( :Expected Outcome, :Sample Mix, :Consumable ), Max Iter( 100 ), Conv Limit( 0.00000001 ), Number Integration Abscissas( ...

  • Problem with the new built-in UMAP feature

Hi, I've testing both t-SNE and UMAP embedding features in Jmp Pro 17.1 release. t-SNE performs flawlessly, but UMAP just makes the program closes inmediatly as I run the analysis. Jmp closes suddenly without any error prompt or log, no matter the number of samples analyzed (50, 100, 300, etc) or settled parameters. I actually use the MNIST sample data provided in the former UMAP ADD-in dependent ...

  • How can I show in Graph Builder that there are outliers not shown?

Good morning!I run into this problem almost daily where I have a graph with outliers that are many orders of magnitude out of range of the rest of my data (graph on left).  I need to adjust the y-axis to show the detail of the collected data (graph on right), but I'd still like to indicate to the viewer that there are outliers that aren't shown (like the red triangles I mocked up in MS Paint and c...

  • Scripting table scripts containing reference lines from a different dt

Hello, I have a task to script some visualizations as table scripts.  Normally this is simple. The rough part is the reference lines that need to reference other sources when the script is running.  Due to the references being contained in two functions that don’t normally accept variables from the outside, finding out how to use expression manipulations to insert these values is something that is...

  • Error in predictive modeling

Hello, Does anyone know what this error means and how I can fix it? I'm trying to run ridge regression using JMP Genomics 10.2.  I am trying to run 3 predictive models. When using Genomic BLUP it gives me an error that I have to use marker properties, when I use marker properties it gives me another error that the allele was not found. Any suggestions? Thanks,Ela

Why does Clear Log(), also prevent anything after it from being printed in the log?We are trying to pull a log file for each execution of the script.  There is a clear log() at the top of a script, and a save log() at the end.  For some reason when the clear log() is run, this prevents anything from being saved into the log file.

  • How do I get percentage difference by function within JMP platform?

And...
