  • Local Data filter animation for multiple filters

I currently use JMP17 (expecting JMP18 in Sept'24) and tried to use local data filter animation to demonstrate how x-y chart changes with each filter (8 filters in total). However, it seems the animation only works for the top filter on the list. Is it a way to enable the animation to step through all possible combinations? Thanks!

We are trying to import binary PI tags from our PI web server into JMP which does not work however. The PI tag is character and has the names "Open" and "Closed" and values 1 and 0 respectively. We verified that this binary PI tag is being populated in the web server: When using the integrated "Import from PI Server" or our own application which is similar, the columns of the data table are not pop...

  • ordinal logistic regression variable selection

I’ve conducted an ordinal logistic regression analysis with 3 independent variables. I then want to ask if adding an interaction to an independent variable is warranted. What is the best approach for determining whether to retain the interaction term or not? Do you base this decision on the p-value of the parameter estimate of the interaction term, p-value of the interaction term in the Wald Test,...

  • Graph builder window size in Journal: Scaling issue [JSL]

Hello, I'm trying to write a script and run it using journal. The script is supposed to plot different graph builder windows. The issue I'm having is that sometimes when I try to change the axis setting (Min, Max, and Increment), the window gets very small and the axis setting becomes different than the one in the script. Ex:    The interesting thing here is that when I try to use the re-run in a ...

  • Statistical methods/details for confidence interval for probit models with an interaction term

Hello,  I fitted a probit model with an interaction term by using the Fit Model platform and specifying the Effects( A, B, A*B ), where :A is a continuous variable and B is a dichotomous variable. In the parameter estimates section I got the Lower CLs and Upper CIs for the intercept, A, B, A*B. terms, respectively. Could you provide some details about how the confidence intervals are calculated fo...

But I also need to include the number of centers (along with the percent) labelled in the bar for the left y-axis...
