  • Some Tricks with Parallel Y Axes

The main idea behind the new parallel Y-axes setting is to generate overlays of plots with several axes on the left, as shown in  New in Graph Builder for JMP 19

The same principle applies if some axes are on the right of the graph, e.g. for  1 axis on the left and 1 axis right: Open( "$SAMPLE_DATA/Functional Data/Anodic Bond.jmp" ); Graph Builder( // Parallel Axes( "Y Only" ), Variables( X( :Ord...

  • Correct model selection for mixture factors + process factor

Dear all I made a custom design with JMP18 on biomass pyrolysis and conducted a total of 30 experiments. The experimental design consists of the following factors (Screenshot attached): Mixture factors: (1) Cellulose content (2) Hemicellulose content (3) Lignin content (4) Ash content (5) Others (e.g., proteins) Process factors: (6) Pyrolysis temperature   The mixture factors (1)-(5) add up to 100...

  • Lines in Graph Builder not updating correctly when applying data filters

I’m working with a dataset where multiple filters are applied. When I change filters, the points update properly but the connecting lines don’t always redraw correctly.
Is there a setting or workflow to force Graph Builder to refresh lines automatically?
    Any suggestions are appreciated.

  • Selected points hide lines in graph builder

Hello, I'm adding lines via a Graphics Script in Graph Builder, but when many points are selected, the selected markers draw on top of the lines and hide them. Like in the middle of this graph:   I would like the lines to be in front of all the poits (including the selected ones, which is not the case here). In the customize option of the graph builder, I can change order between points and scrip...

  • 3 Y-axes with 3 different elements

I'm trying to recreate this GC metric chart from Picard in JMP but am having trouble figuring out how to get 3 different Y-axes that all have different elements.  Here is the graph I am trying to make:  This is as far as I have gotten. I added the base quality to the y axis and then moved it to the right to get two Y-axes but can't figure out how to add in the red histogram as well.  I've attach...

  • Data tables

    Hi,

I want to compare more than 2 tables in JMP for a common column present in all the tables. Now i want to return a 1 if the values in that specific column exists in each table otherwise 0. This im able to do for some predefined tables and by using a JSL script which adds an extra column in each table and return 0 or 1.

  • ComboBox dropdown resizing issue with lengthy values

I’m running into an issue with the ComboBox in JMP. The dropdown width is automatically adjusted based on the longest value in the list. Since I’m loading data from a database, most values are short, but a few are very lengthy. When those long values are included, the entire dropdown becomes excessively wide. I haven’t been able to find any documentation on how to control or fix the dropdown siz...

My second question as one part of the AHP matrix is equal to 1 divided on the second part. How can I tell JMP that to screen only the half of missed value whic...

  • How to correctly compute Odds Ratios from a Binomial Logit Generalized Linear Mixed Model (GLMM) in JMP Pro?

I am fitting a Binomial Logit Generalized Linear Mixed Model (GLMM) in JMP Pro 18, with: binary outcome (1 = event, 0 = no event), several categorical predictors (factors), and a random intercept for subject ID to account for repeated measures / clustering. The model converges and produces a table of Fixed Effects Parameter Estimates, which includes: Estimate (β) Standard Error Lower / Uppe...
