  • How do I copy my JMP to a new laptop?

Hi JMP Team, I am looking for some help. I have a new laptop, and have installed JMP17 (same version as old laptop), but I was wondering if there is a way to copy over a folder or file from the old laptop so that all my settings and add-ins and tool bars etc. would appear on the new laptop JMP? It would be very useful to copy over some settings file or a user folder to the new laptop and restart J...

  • Multinomial Logistic Regression Confidence for Specific Parameter Changes

Hi,  I have a multinomial logistic regression of 3 classes: 0, 1, and 2 and have associated individual models (via Fit Y by X) for N parameters. I am now looking into a sensitivity like study in which each parameter is assumed at certain levels (e.g. at min, max etc..). I have probabilities computed at each such parameter level. I like to rank order probability change in each class (0, 1 and 2) du...

  • EWMA vs CUSUM usage

Any advice or guidelines on when to use a CUSUM vs EWMA control charts?  I searched the net for a little while and couldn't find anything definitive on using one vs the other. Also, any guidance on how to use them in a production setting when the data is a rolling date range?  And by that I mean the control limits, target and sigma would be set based upon an in control time period but a new set of...

  • Optimize the computation

Hi, I have a jsl code to compute the radial distance from the center of the wafer. The data table XYCoord has X, Y and wafer id cols.It calculates the distance and adds a distance column 1mm from the center to the tableCurrently, with 656k rows, it takes > 3- 4min for the process to finish, which is way too much.Is there a way to optimize and make it faster?

I am trying to "RUN" the script to calculate the new observation, but I don´t no how to do. Dear JMP community,I am presented with a problem of building a model using over-dispersed zero-inflated count data. I hope you can help me with this.I have attached both training and validation datasets to this post. My objective is to build my model on the training dataset and validate it using the validation dataset. I have not worked with such count data before and therefore do not know validat...

  • Flame graphs

Out of curiosity, has anyone ever managed to create something like a flame graph ( https://www.brendangregg.com/flamegraphs.html ) using Graph Builder? It looks like it would be ideal for analyzing hierarchical data, e.g. using the output of a linux "find . -ls" command to visualize disk usage.
