  • Recall Button

I posted this question on the original thread but it was probably not highlighted properly, so trying as a fresh post. The code at this link looks very useful How to create a Recall button on a custom window - JMP User Community However, it's not obvious to me how to capitalise on the recall function properly. I have some code (below) I borrowed and modified that lacks recall and I was trying to f...

  • force all histogram levels on bar graph, even if count = 0?

Hi - i am making mulitple histogram graphs with 9 categorical levels possible  - i would like all 9 levels to show on the axis, even if the frequency count is zero for a specific bin on a specific histogram... Is there a way to force zero counts to show on the graph axis (for example, the bin in included on the axis, but there is no bar since count = 0)? I think having all levels on each graph wil...

  • Issue with the dashboard and the new database

Issue with the dashboard and the new database
I created a dashboard in JMP, and now I want to use it with a different database.
I tried copying and pasting the dashboard, but it still opens the one from the other database.
I also modified the data sources and renamed the file, but I'm getting an error.
How can I solve this problem and use the same dashboard with a new database?

  • How to calculate alpha, Γ and γ for a Weibull distribution with Beta fixed at a negative constant

HeyI have 2 columns of data (A and B) which follow independent Weibull distributions with a common shape parameter (γ) and with parameters (αAβ, γ) and (αB, β, γ). Prior to parameter estimation, I would like to fix the β at -0.5 (JMP is not allowing negative β). Please guide how do I calculate these parameters for Weibull distribution using both Least Squares and Maximum Likelihood method while ...

  • Saving entered Profiler Remember Setting in Model Script

I am using the Reliability Growth Model (JMP 16.2.0) and entering ~20 unique values in the Cumulative Events Profiler using the Remember Settings feature. Unfortunately these values do not save with the Reliability Growth JSL script, so each time I re-open the model I am forced to manually enter the 20 values all over again if I desire to compare values-a necessary part of my analysis.  Is there a...

  • How do I get the partial eta squared for a model with random effects?

Hello, I am conducting a two-way ANOVA with a random effect and need to report the partial eta squared. Does anyone know how to do this or calculate it from values displayed in the output? I tried the add-on but it does not support models with random effects. For the model I have a dependent variable and my model effects looks like:variable1variable2variable1*variable2variable3 & random all variab...

  • Hyperparameters and neural network architecture

Hello,I'm trying to reproduce the results obtained on JMP with the "Neural" model by adding nested cross-validation, which is not possible on the software. However, the architecture is very unclear and I can't understand the calculations performed by the model. I don't have access to certain information such as batch size, optimizer used, loss, learning rate (except the one for the boosting), and ...

Hi. I want to analyze how well two biomarkers work together in the detection of diseased from healthy and compare the combination to the single markers. I have previously done such analysis in SPSS using binary logistic regression and then simply running ROC-analysis for single markers and combination. With JMP I cannot find how to combine two biomarkers using a logistic regression analysis. Could...
