  • Saving a new script to preserve variables for later

Hello, I've built a script that performs data analysis but requires various user inputs to configure. There are cases where I want to perform a similar analysis later, but not need to re-enter all my settings. The main script already can read existing variables and auto-fill those fields, so if I have some way to save and import those default values, I'll be set. I want to be able to have multiple...

  • How to use Select Where () with Contains () to find partial matches in data table?

I have a listmyList = {"Current_I20_", "Voltage_CIB_", "Capacitance_DIFF_", "Resistance_FURR_"};and a data table with one of columns called Parameter with some row entries as Current_I20_Stage2 Voltage_CIB_Stage3 Capacitance_DIFF_corner_Stage1 Resistance_FURR__side_Stage3Using myList with Contains() to extract the full parameters names from the data table into a list. How to do this via JSL?For a...

  • JSL / Add-in: Assign Microtiter Plate Info to a Design

I am working on a script that adds the rows and columns of microtiter plate to a  JMP design. The ideal scenario would be that this becomes a add-in, so that once an individual has generated a design they can then assign the correct Plate number, Row name, and Column number corresponding to a plate of their choosing (96, 384, 1536 wells) and omitting as many edge columns or rows as they like. This...

  • Linux and Containerization Support

Hello, I am looking to set up JMP and integrate with SAS 9.4. All our cloud infrastructure is based on Linux and Kubernetes. I am wondering if it is possible to install JMP on Linux or if there are containerized JMP images are available.

  • Nonlinear platform - trial values from table with large number of categories

Hello - I have a large number of categories for each parameter when using the nonlinear platform. Basically, one category per row. Is there a way to have a table of values to load into the parameters? Because with the time its taking to one by one type and click, type and click the values in with the control panel, it might be faster to go back to Matlab at this point, which I very much don't want...

  • JMP Live data filter in control chart updates chart USL and LSL but not the points with a selection after data refresh

I have a JMP Live control chart with a data filter. When i click the data filter it changes the control chart accordingly. However, when the data refreshes it no longer updates the points in the control chart. It will still update the shaded regions or other aspects of the chart with the data filter selection but not the points themselves.

  • How to use prediction profiler to achieve a combination of target conditions?

I have a 5 column data. Variation of input parameters/conditions in rows of the first three column results in (measured) values in column 4 and 5. How to use prediction profiler to predict a combination of input parameters/conditions to achieve a target combination (in my case a target concentration and depth)?I would prefer a graphical way but I can also handle JSL.

  • Sphericity test not performed due to insufficient error degrees of freedom

Hi,I have Heart rates from 3 different groups collected at 7 times differents points. I would like to perform a repeated measures ANOVA. To do so, I would like to check sphericity assumption. I found online that you have to split your data and then Analyze > fit model, I add my 7 times in "Y" then Group in "Construct model effects", then Personality "Manova", Run. I checked “Univariate Tests Also”...

  • Vector Modeling and Related Analysis Capabilities

hello JMP team ,  I am curious to learn more on the vector data type modeling and any associated analysis on that . Are there examples of sample vector datasets ? Once such dataset exists, could clustering techniques work on them and how would they work specifically ?I assume they would at the very least extract statistical aggregation from each vector and use these for clustering. Is there any mo...
