Save Parameter Estimates of Linear Regression with by Variable
I am trying to do a linear regression of 2 columns as grouped by a 3rd column and am stuck. I want a column with slope for that row, and another with intercept for that row. Short background: I have 30k different formulations that have each been tested with 13 different levels of an acid. I want to understand the slope of the pH as a function of acid concentration. For my range (and purpose) I c...

How to subset my data every 5 minutes per batch in time column?
Hello, I have a data set that has many batches of data stacked in one column. Another column is time point (1,2,3,4,...). I am trying to select and subset every 5 minute time point (and the first time point) for each batch such that time will be (1,5,10,15,20,..) for each batch. I have tried to use the "select where" and "mod" functions but cannot get it to work.

concatenating a variable into a python string
Its been a while since I've really messed with this stuff, but having some issues with the Python Submit function. Take the following code
Names Default To Here( 1 ); Python Init(); Python Submit( "\[ str = 'The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog'; a = 200; ]\" ); getStr = Python Get( str ); getNum = Python Get( a ); Show( getStr, getNum ); Python Term();

Graph Builder - How to Nest Group X Variables?
Hello, I'm trying to plot some data using graph builder, where serial number and response are plotted on X and Y. I'm trying to group by two variables - design and batch, but since each batch is only one design I would like to not include every batch number under each design. I can achieve close to the results I want by nesting the X-axis, but then I cannot plot by serial #.Any solutions for this?...

Question About F-Tests in GLMMs with Binomial Errors
Hi,
I have a question regarding Generalized Linear Mixed Models (GLMMs) in JMP pro. Most statisticians consider it inappropriate to use F-tests or t-tests to evaluate predictor contributions in GLMs or GLMMs with binomial errors. This is because F- and t-tests are based on sums of squares, which assume normally distributed residual errors.
While using a logit link function helps linearize the relati...LanaMilana

How to adjust the size of R plot imported with get R graphics(); ?
I'm trying to run R code in JMP to create a plot. I succeeded in importing the plot in png format, but failed to adjust the size of the plot. I can adjust the "plot_from_R" in png format with the set size(); function in jsl, but it is not proportional and distorted. How can I import plot_from_R in the size I want?
