the plot below Y-axis is by sigma, how to create a plot like this?
Hi JMP Community, I need to calculate the signed area under the curve for simple time series data (see mock data below). Specifically, I need to calculate the area (as shown in the graphs above) above zero as positive and below zero as negative, including local shift from positive to negative and reciprocally. Examples: AUC for curve A = Positive Area 1 + Negative Area 2 + Positive Area 3AUC ...
I have generated a fast flexible space filling design and had a few questions about the output. I was wondering what the discrepancy measure metric was measuring? Additionally, what does the MaxPro column at the bottom of the page indicate?
When I create small maximum entropy designs, I get unbalanced distributions for the variables. It's mostly regular and with some extra points at the ends; however, the lower end is sampled much more frequently than any other point. I have tried it many times and attached a few examples to this message. If needed, I can provide more. As you can see from the screenshot above, -1 is sampled must more...

Hi,I want to conduct an analysis for comparing two groups with paired samples for similarities (they should be similar). My choice was the TOST Test with pairwise comparisons. My boundaries for no difference were 0.4. The output of the analysis is this:Does this mean that there is no difference between the groups as it says: mean difference ≤ 0.4 with p < 0.05 ?Sorry this is the first time I work w...
Hi I have this table (attached) to which I've saved the script from the split function.Essentially the main table has for each sample 2 measurements for each target, "mean_numeric" and "value", each sample has 2 replicates and the 2 measurements should be the same (and are the same as far as I'm aware).I want to reformat the table using split so for each sample I have a row and then each target me...
Hi All, I have what seems to be an odd problem. I've created a JSL script that launches a window through which a user can select some options and then run scripts to pull data from various sources. The odd thing that is happening is that when one of these scripts is run it causes all subsequent JMP windows to open under a new taskbar icon. An example for clarity: 1) User opens jmp. There is 1 icon...
Hi everyone,I have used the choice model platform to design and analyse choice experiments. However, at the analysis step, there are some parts of JMP platform output that are not clear, and I wonder if you can provide an answer:It is not clear how marginal effects are calculated in JMP.More specifically, how do we obtain marginal probabilities from marginal utilities since neither the utility fun...

Dear All,I have been analysing a two factorial (3*4) RCBD repeated measures design by using the mixed model approach in JMP. Above is a section of the report I got. Why are the estimates zero. Other information include about the analysis include:1. 14 continuous variables measured four times at unequal time periods2. All the three covariance structures I tried (AR1, Toeplizt and spatial power) had...
Is there a better way rather than iteration of all the rows to validate values in column? Let's say before making something with the column I want to make sure that all values in column match specific Regex. Like so:!IsMissing(Regex(Column(myColumn)[1], "^\w+(\d{3})\w+$", "\1"))
I can iterate through each row to make sure that all of them match, but maybe there is a better way?
