  • How to merge more than 2 tables?

    I simply want to put the columns from each table in one table. I am able to do this by using join tables with just 2 tables but I want to join 4 tables at once. I have tried to use JMP query builder, but I cannot get it to join them.

    Factor 2 can be present or absent. If it is present, its optimal concentration is of interest.
    Factor 3 can be present or absent. I...

    I've never been able to get function locals to appear in the debugger. Here is a simple example. When the debugger is inside the function the tooltip shows the correct value, but neither variable 'a' or 'c' appear below. Is this a bug?  JMP 17.2.0

  • Lock the formula in a column

    I am working on a standard data table with saved formulas in some columns. I know when you have a formula in a column, the data entry would be locked but is there any option to also lock the formula so the users cannot change the formula without for example having a password? Thanks for your answers in advance

  • What's wrong here? Expression issue in Formula()

    Caution - JMP will crash!!! Names Default To Here( 1 ); f = Function( {}, /* .... */ ID = Associative Array( {{Name Expr(), 1}, {Expr(), 2}, {Function(), 3}}, 0 );
    /* .... */ ); f();

    removing the function() from the list fixes the error.
    Taking the associative array out of the outer function fixes the error. [edit] a motivation why this can be helpful:as a lookup table for parts of expressions...

  • Extract the month, in text, from a JMP Date column

    I can extract a month number from a date variable, but it is numeric only (1-12).  I know I can create a Match and force 1 = Jan, 5 = May, etc.  Is there a way I can use a simple formula to accomplish this?  Thank you. I'm a retired dinosaur user - JMP 8

  • Confidence interval for parameters and inverse predictions

    Dear JMP community, I am fitting a probit regression between proportion of success and a continuous variable X. The screenshots below are the fit model outputs. I also got inverse predictions when the success are 0.05 ~ 0.95. I am wondering: 1) what are the confidence intervals for the parameter estimates, are they the Wald confidence interval? 2) what are the confidence intervals for the inverse ...

  • Two-way Shapley Decomposition

    Dear community,

    I am aiming to compute a Two way Shapley decomposition for this mockedup data table. Herefore I first have to identify the growth and distribution components and to which percentage they account for the change in the EQ-5D-5L score. Further I aim to investigate the contribution of each individual predictor to the final EQ-5D-5L score.

    Would really appreciate if someone could guide me...
