  • What exactly is "Location relationship" in reliability tool? (fit life by X)

Hello,I'm using JMPpro for reliability data analysis.I understand that "fit life by X" tool can be used for ALT data analysis and the "relationship" seems to show an accelerated test condition-lifetime relationship(Arrhenius, Linear etc.). What is "Location" and "no effect"? JMP help document says: Location means that μ is different for every level of XDoes this mean that it is used when there is ...

  • Q: Life distribution for (real) life and interval censored data ; but mixed

Hello, I have both data of interval censored data and (real) end of life data. For example, some sample died between 1000 and 1100 cycle, which is interval censored data with 100 cycle interval. (i.e., Dataset A)For the other samples, since I've improved measurement method, I can get a exact life cycle of the sample, such as 1034th cycle. (i.e., Dataset B) In this case, is it possible to plot life...

  • Difference in Risk Ratio stats between JMP 15 & JMP 16?

OK, have I got a question for y'all!  I'm teaching survival analysis and looking at Proportional Hazards Fit and Risk Ratios.  In JMP 15 I'm getting a Prob>Chisq of <.0001 for my risk ratios (yes, it's an odd dataset where the differences in survival are rather large) with understandable 95% confidence limits.  I've assumed this is testing the Ho that the risk ratio is not significantly different ...

  • JMP DOE and survivability

This may seem like a really obscure question, but I actually think at least a decent number of biologists deal with this: sacrificing organisms during the study. I have used some of the platforms under "reliability and survival" under "Analyze," and they are well set up for situations in which your sample size inherently decreases over the duration of your study because you are either removing org...

  • can i block runs in a DOE after the experiments are run?

Hello, i am wondering if it is possible to group runs into blocks after i have run all experiments in a DOE.   i would do this in the case that i can't control how many runs i am able to do per day (maybe due to random equipment downtime or other uncontrollable factors), and i would like to group runs done in a single day into blocks.  typically, it seems like runs are grouped into blocks at the p...

  • How to recreate the Destructive Degradation Profiler using the Graph Profiler platform?

The Destructive Degradation platform enables to analyze data collected from accelerated testing. A number of predefined models is available. When selecting the Arrhenius model (with temperature used as the acceleration factor) to characterize the degradation path, JMP computes model estimates and provides three degradation profilers.I would like to recreate the primary Degradation Profiler using t...

  • Friedman post hoc analysis

Hello, I am trying to do a matched sample analysis across three different factors. I wanted to:1. Confirm that my sample would be what I pick for 'Block" when I do Fit Y by X when running Friedman's test2. Is there a post hoc analysis in JMP that I can use? I dont see Nemenyi or Conover as an optionThanks for your time.
