  • How to perform Pairwise comparison on Kaplan-Meier survival curve?

Hello,I am currently conducting a survival experiment where I am investigating the impact of 8 different diets on the survival of my subjects. There are 8 total groups, each consisting of approximately 20 individuals, that are exposed to a single diet from day 1 until they pass away. Every day, I record the number of deceased individuals. After conducting the Kaplan-Meier curve using the survival a...

  • Viscosity evolution prediction (non linear platform)

Hi all JMP user,  I am trying to use several JMP tools to model and predict oil ageing as a function of temperature. My model is calculated with the following equation: η(t) model =η∞+(η0−η∞) e−kt with k=Aexp⁡(−EaRT) In JMP, I defined η∞, A, and Ea as parameters (a, b, c), and I used the Nonlinear platform to estimate them by fitting the model to my viscosity measurements. I have a few questions...

  • Tiny Traps in Jmp and JSL

JMP has 1 million cool features which allow the user to analyze the data at warp speed.
There are just a few tiny traps. They are less annoying for users who know where they are hidden.

  • JMP bug or alternate calculation in Life Distribution scale confidence limits?

Dear JMP, I found a discrepancy between a JMP result and the result in the textbook you cite as a reference.  Is this a bug or does JMP use a different calculation than the textbook? JMP Pro 17.2.0 > Reliability and Survival > Life Distribution platform, fit to a Weibull, Wald confidence intervals > in the Parametric Estimate – Weibull section, all the numbers agree except the scale and Weibull ß ...

  • how to use JMP to predict the time?

    i have three samples data like below, i want to predit the time of each sample through weibull model  when the retention is below 70%.   time    sample      retention 1            1                  100%  2           1                    99.8% .... 298      1                   81.9% 299       1                   81% 300       1                  80%
