  • JMP Journal adding graphs JSL

Hello Everyone,  I have one control chart graph with column switcher on the side to change the graph that I want to look at. I want to be able to use JSL to copy over the control chart to the journal and then use the column switcher to pick a different control chart graph and move that one over too. The point is to be able to move over any of the control chart graphs you want to look at into the j...

  • JMP Scripting - New Column Function and Multiple Formula Functions Don't MIX !!!! Interesting Problem !!!!

Hello Community   I have written a script in which I search an open data table for rows which contain text A in column 2 AND text B in column 3.  Using the row numbers, I then save the text from column 7 for all of those rows to a new individual variable.  The problem is I would like to then save the text in column 7 for all those rows in a NewTable with a New Column.  The first column was not a p...

  • Is there an alternative to iterating through rows using column formula?

I have a dataset which is a series of test runs, all collected in one table. The experiment is 6 sweeps from high to low speed for each sample, and what I need to do is assign the correct sweep number to each one (i.e. from 1 to 6) and then restart the sequence for the next sample. I could easily do this with the sequence or count function, however the number of points in each sweep is not always ...

  • Labview Connection

We are on the search for a direct labview connection. As it appears on MathLab that it is a TCP/IP exchange: https://de.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/42567-matlab-and-labview-data-exchange-over-tcp-ip
Is it possible to create something similar for JMP or is it existing already? Thanks for help in advance!Markus

  • Structural Equation Model Standardized Path Coefficients Greater than 1

Hi! I just built a structural equation model including two latent variables. Each latent variable has three indicators. However, after running the model, there are three standardized path coefficients greater than 1 (water quality > St[Mac... MMI]; latent 1 > St[Mac... MMI]; St[Base...Index] > St[Mac... MMI]). Normally the standardized path coefficients should be less than 1. I did some search and...

  • Tabulate specific values from column

Hi all, I have this Air Traffic.jmp file as my example, so what I wanted to do is to tabulate the data with only the specified values needed but it need to retain its original Column % value.I tried selecting the needed values then subset into another table but ends up having 100 Column % value. I also tried hiding and excluding but also got 100 Column % value.  In my attached file, my needed valu...

  • how to obtain scatter plot of age- and gender-adjusted biomarker X vs motor severity score Y using JMP

We would like to clarify whether there is a linear relationship between biomarker X and motor severity score Y in patients with a neurological disorder. Since age and biological sex influence the biomarker X, we considered them as covariates. We estimated the association between variables using partial Pearson correlations, and linearly adjusted for the effects of age and gender. We would apprecia...

  • Dunnett's for Multiple Ys

I am trying to get a script that will run Dunnett's on multiple Ys automatically in fit model, my issues:   If I change the multiple comparisons part where the factor and level is not a variable it works but only for the first Y, it will not repeat the Dunnett's part for the remaining Ys.   So my questions:   1.  Why doesn't this work like the fit model with a variable being used for the factor an...

  • How do I get Odds Ratios after fitting a GLM with binomial distribution and logit function?

Hi everyone,I need to get OR after fitting a GLM with binomial distribution and logit function - that is a logistic model. I cannot fit a "nominal logistic" where there's the option for OR because I need to use the Firth adjustment for small-sample bias (I can only do that for that GLM). Is there an option to get the Odds Ratios? Thank you in advance. Antony

  • Return number from specified row of calculation column in either a text edit box or number edit box in an add in

Hello,  I'm attempting to build an application in application builder. I have two modules currently. The first module is a series of number edit boxes and lists that allow the user to input values and make selections. After pushing a button, the inputs and/or list selections update table variables in a data table that subsequently updates column equations. The data table opens in the background so ...

  • Comparing observed/predicted from different models. (Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) or Mean Absolute Error (MAE))?

I'm using the neural platform to calculate a model that makes predictions from some observed data and want to compare the performance of that model to other models (not from JMP). To compare the different models, I want to compare the observed data and the predictions from the different models. The R2 is not a good measure because it checks for any linear relationship between the observed and predi...
