• predcition formula into excel

  Hello, I want to use a predcition formula form a least square prediction model generated in JMPpro to be saved in and excel database so that non-JMP users would able to use the prediction formula. It seems that I can save the formula in several formats but not in excel format. Any suggestion? regards Lu

• If a column contains "%"--> how can I use this type for a formula? i.e. if states "%" do formula, otherwise use a number from another column?

  I'm struggling. I have a column which contains either %, /nl or 10^9 as a outcome. the linked numbers in another column have to be converted depending on these expressions. How should I use the column properties and which comparison or expression in the formula should I use? Most use a numerical part for this, but I need now the characters. if --> % than calculate number *100, if not do xxx

• JMP Crashing

  I wrote a script where if a folder does not exist, then a folder will be created. The path is to a shared network folder. I have modify access to the shared folder and the script works fine for me. However, when a colleague who has only read access to the shared folder, runs the script JMP crashes when it get to the below section of code. • Using XGBoost Model to Predict on a hold-out test set

  I am using JMP 16. I installed the XGBoost addin. I developed a xgbbost model using this. I saved the model in the data table using 'Save Prediction formulae'.  Now, I have a separate hold-out test set on which I want to run the formulae to get the prediction.  If I click the formulae (see attached figure), I found that the formulae depend on the training and validation set, which seems odd to me....
