  • DOE with replications

Hi, i designed custom doe with 12 runs. i am going to make each run 4 times in order to have the error value. is there any efficient way to design the doe instead of copy paste each run 4 times in the doe table?please advise

  • Comparing DoEs- Why D/G/A/I- efficiencies are all the SAME and terribly LOW?

    Hi,

I am working on Custom DoE (JMP16). I have 4 factors (1 continuous and 3 discrete num, with constraints). I have 1 response. I know these 4 factors are important and have interactions. My goal is to optimize the response to find the optimal factor levels that result in the highest efficiency possible. I included all quadratic and interaction effects.

I am using the I-optimality since this is not...

  • Mixing speed factor type

    Hi,
I am going to make a DOE and one of the factors there is mixing speed. The speeds i would like to check are 2,5 and 7 m/s. Should i choose it as categorical factor or continues (but 5 is not exactly the mid point)
    Please advise
    Thanks

  • Select Rows Based on Another Summary Data Table Each Row of Multiple Column Values

Hi,I am facing issue to write a code to select rows based on another summary data table each row of multiple column values. The summary data table is variable, change from time to time.Below is JSL code. It does not work as required. I need help here. Example,In summary data table,row#1, Make = Acura, Model =Integra, Protection = manual belts, base on these values select rows in Data Table A.row#2...

  • PER file location does not exist

Every time I log into JMP I get a pop up that says "The PER file location does not exist, please enter an existing location." I've tried re-associating the license file without success. Any ideas?

  • How to specify replications in 2-way anova?

I come from Google Sheets, using the XLMiner Analysis Toolpak add-on. The results I get from using its 2-way anova WITH replication is different from the results I get from JMP. In JMP, I click "Fit Model", entering the response variable, and selecting both factors before clicking the "full factorial" macro. In XLMiner, I simply enter the data range as input and specify 30 replications. I have 2 i...

  • how to have a mixture response surface design

I am using JMP 15. From classical > there is either mixture design or response surface design. From custom design I can select mixture factors, however, there is no option of response surface design. I am wondering how can I have a response surface design for mixture? Thanks

  • DoE with two-choice experiments, continuous response variable

We want to rank the preference  of population of animals for n different recipes. Recipes are tested in two-choice assays, where groups of over 100 individuals can choose one choice or the other. Preference for the group is computed as a preference index, a continuous variable that is between -1 and 1. Is there an experimental design that would help reduce the number of combinations to test in ord...

  • Sub-sampling data analysis in JMP

In Biology (Plant Sci. and Agriculture) usually we have sub-sampling data for replicates. It's very difficult to analyze these data in commonly use Stat S/W (SPSS/Minitab) because MSS(Error) is calculating wrongly.  Without taking averages of samsamples, the easiest S/W for this is using JMP and I need some assistance for this. I've found very useful Youtube video about subsampling in JMP  (CRD: S...
