• Analysing 2-factor 2-level design as if it were 4 different treatment design

  Hello! Just curious why we see different results in such cases. Here we have a classic 2-factor 2-level factorial design which we can analyze using Nominal regression/logistic regression.  Analysis shows that only interaction is significant :  However, if we transform this data as if there were 4 factors A1, B1, C (A1*B1), D (A0*B0),  then we will see that main effects are significant.

• How to limit number of legend items?

  I have a plot that is overlayed by hundreds of catergorical values. When user works with it, it only makes sense to compare 2, 3, maximum 5 categories, and user id doing that through data filter.But nothing prevents user from selecting all 150+ categories. • 2-way ANOVA

  Hi, I have an experimental design following the 20 x 2 x 2 protocol for a single sample. One and the same sample was measured over 20 days in 2 independent runs per day with 2 replicate measurements per each run. Both replicates came from a single sample aliquot for each run. • DOE: more runs or balanced design?

  Hello everybody, I have the data of an experiment designed with JMP (160 runs). In addition to this design, the experimenter replicated a control treatment 16 times. I wonder if I should include these 16 more runs in the analysis or not. Based on the "Compare design" platform I will increase the power if I include the 16 control runs.
