  • Programmatically access Legend Properties with JSL

I want to disable the default 'click-ability' feature of a legend. I can achieve this manually by selecting the legend properties (in a platform) and un-selecting the 'Enabled' checkbox. But how do I access these properties programmatically? I tried making the change manually and subsequently 'saved script' using the RED triangle but it does not appear to record this property. Is it possible?

  • DoE with one factor constrained to be in a ratio with another factor

Is there a way to use the Custom Design to generate a DoE where one factor is set to a ratio of another?  For example, if I have factors A, B and C, each at two levels, however the two levels of C are 1:1 with B or 5:1 with B.  This obviously creates more than 2 real levels for C and some of the combinations are not allowed because they don't maintain the ratio.  Treating the ratio (i.e. 1 and 5) ...

  • Double condition (if)

Hello,  I have a data set with two randomization (code 1 or 2) arm and 5 types (1,2...,5) of interventions and my interest variable is a scale pain (1,... to 10). How can I make a khi2 test analysis between the two arm and my scale pain for 1 of the five intervention. I create a new variable "Chir Abdo - Rando" with formula to make analysis X,Y "Chir Abdo - Rando" in function "EVA <4". For example...

  • Fitting a response surface model with four factors (one factor is a nuisance factor)

I've designed a DoE to study the influence of factors on a filtration process. First, I designed a fractional factorial DoE to investigate 4 factors at two levels (low and high) and also includes two center points. In the evaluation, I find that one of the four factors has no influence on the responses and is not considered in further DoE designs. The design is then augmented to include star point...

  • Associative array to rename data table columns

Hi JMP Community,   I have a data table (dt1) with many columns and would like to rename them. They are coded with strange names. But, I have another data table (dt2) with only two columns :Name and :Code. Each row in dt2 has the meaningful name that is associated with the code.   I know how to do this with for loops, but I'm trying to learn something new and hoping to do it through an Associative...

  • How to do text justification in a TextBox with Markup?

I noticed that if text box has Markup enabled, then Text Justification property is ignored. I want the text to be right justified, and it just doesn't work. But as soon as I turn off markup - it aligns correctly. Is it a bug?Is there a way to justify marked up text using markup?

  • Font colour changes when spinning a surface plot

I've produced a surface plot using a predicted formula from a definitive screening design. I'd like to present my plot in a presentation with the plot rotating. To do so I followed this thread: https://community.jmp.com/t5/Discussions/Spinning-a-Scatterplot-3D/td-p/6510 The advice here was originally for a scatter plot, however I got it working using the same line of code:Set Spin( 0.01, 0, 0.01, ...

  • Response Screening - Multiple model effects?

I am trying to analyze a medium / large proteomics dataset (3350 proteins) using the response screening analysis.  The problem is that I have multiple model effects to take into consideration - I have treatment vs control, but I also have samples from multiple days to consider, but I clearly can't run this as a fit model.   Is it possible to take both treatment and day into consideration using JMP...

  • Sub-sampling data analysis in JMP

In Biology (Plant Sci. and Agriculture) usually we have sub-sampling data for replicates. It's very difficult to analyze these data in commonly use Stat S/W (SPSS/Minitab) because MSS(Error) is calculating wrongly.  Without taking averages of samsamples, the easiest S/W for this is using JMP and I need some assistance for this. I've found very useful Youtube video about subsampling in JMP  (CRD: S...
