  • Lin's Concordance Correlation Coefficient

Hi All Is there a procedure in JMP that computes  Lin's Concordance Correlation Coefficient?  The concordance correlation coefficient (Lin, 1989) evaluates the degree to which pairs of observations fall on the 45° line through the origin. Lin L.I-K (1989) A concordance correlation coefficient to evaluate reproducibility. • Setting preferences for table summary?

Hi, I'm struggling with some presettings for table > summary in JMP 18:

    1. I want to have the box "Remove excluded groups" checked by default
    2. The output table name should be empty by default (new in JMP 18: a name like "Summary of ..." is entered by default, which leads to the error that in case of a "Recall" for another data table you will obtain the name of the previously chosen one :(

Hello! I have a dataset with columns Q2_1 to Q2_7, each representing different demographic categories. Each row corresponds to a participant's selection of answers. For example, Q2_1 might represent White/Caucasian, Q2_2 might represent Black or African American, and so on. I need to create a new column that indicates if a specific demographic (e.g., White) was selected but another demographic (e....

  • Scripting vs Workflow for column recoding

I am trying to re-code about 10 data tables that have about 180 levels to 7 levels. Each table starts with different rows but all of them will end into the same 7 levels so then I can combine and analyze. i started recording the recoding via workflow in one data table, but then when I tried to run into the second data table I realized that the workflow will not work because the rows from the first...

  • Is there a way to tell LCA that the rows are ordered by class?

Typical dataset: 120-200 rows, 15 classes. Rows are known to be ordered by class. What is unknown is where the 'fences' between classes are. As-is -- i.e., without taking row order into account -- LCA correctly classifies about 94% of rows. My intuition is that if I knew how to tell the algorithm that the rows are grouped by class on input, we'd be at 100%. Visual, in case my use of 'grouped by' i...

  • I would like to find another political scientist or other social scientist who has worked with mapping congressional districts and counties

There are great bodies of data presented by counties (disease incidence, education, income). There are other bodies of data presented by congressional districts (incumbents, vote percentages, etc.)  I want to find someone who has mapped the counties and the congressional districts into the same space.  I know this can be done with ESRI products, but  I wanted to avoid jumping off the JMP platform....
