Welcome to the October 2022 update for the JSL Cookbook. Since the last post, we added three recipes:
The JSL Debugger – Basics
The JSL Debugger – Next Steps
Add a Summary Statistic Graph Reference Line that Response to Local Data Filter Changes
The first two are in Appetizers and the second in Main Courses. Kudos to @Di_Michelson for being the first new author (all previous recipes have been submitted by @DonMcCormack). We’re still waiting for our first non-JMP staff submission. The JSL Debugger – Next Steps and Add a Summary Statistic recipes are a bit different in that they don’t have accompanying videos. This saves a good bit of time for the author, since recording is the most labor-intensive part of creating these recipes. Hopefully, seeing this will encourage more submissions. Let us know what you think. If you think that the recording is an important part of the recipes, we’d like to know.
Because of changes being made to the Community, we’re creating a subject index page to cross-reference recipes to subject topics. Previously, tags were used for this purpose. We think this will be more useful since all the indices will be in one place. There will be a link to Subject Index at the top of the Cookbook start page, under Additional Resources at the right.
That’s all for now. As always, we’d love to hear your thoughts.
