Reopen/restore the last closed window

Too many times I have accidentally closed a window/analysis then 2 seconds later realized I wasn't quite done with it.  Yes, I could use recall to redo it quickly, but would really like to be able to press a button and restore the last thing I closed.

The enhanced Log gives you the possibility to open again any window which you closed during the current session.

Hi @amlee2008,

I know just how frustrating that is and have done it myself a number of times! I just shared an Add-In in the File Exchange that I've been using for a while to do just what you suggested (and behind the scenes it exploits the log, just as @hogi mentioned). I hope this will help you until there is another method available.

To reopen a closed window or tab, simply press Ctrl + Shift + T (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + T (Mac). You can also right-click on the browser tab bar and select "Reopen closed tab."
