Easier Opening of Online Databases from Websites

Unless I've missed some update i find the way of opening online databases via API extremely clunky via scripting.
What I'd like is the ability to navigate to a website from within JMP and login to the db and JMP remembers the information (generates the script for you) to be run on other occurrences.
