import bank statements data from pdf

Hello,

Is JMP able to import credit card statements into excel/JMP table? Or does it only work from text files? 

If not, could I convert pdf into text, then could it recognize the rows I am trying to import into JMP?

Yes, JMP can open pdf files.

 Go to:     Help=>JMP Online Help=>PDF

Import PDF Files

The PDF Import Wizard enables you to preview a PDF file, adjust the import settings, and view the results in the data table preview before you import the data. JMP attempts to auto-detect the data structure in the PDF file, or you can customize the structure.

...and it gets better: you probably have a directory of pdfs of statements collected for several years. If the bank has not changed the format, you can use the script JMP saved to the data table to import and stack them
