  1. Right click on the connecting letters report, then select Make Into Data Table
  2. In the new table, select the columns that have letters in them, then Table...Stack, stacking those columns
  3. Hide and Exclude (or delete) and rows where the letter is blank
  4. Make your graph
  5. in the Red Triangle for Points, select Set Shape Column, and Select the column with the letters in it.

Assuming you have JMP 17 or greater, I've attached a workflow that does this.
