Why I am not getting bivariate option when i try to do fit Y by X for creating the simple linear regression?

I have one data set. I tried to do fit the line by using fit Y by X. But it is only showing contingency analysis option only. Is there any solution for this?

For a Bivariate analysis the columns need to be numeric/continuous.  I assume your columns are of a different specification. Go to the Column Info dialog to change the data type and modeling type.
