Parsing open form comments

Hello,

JMP 18.0

I have a tool log that operators have to put a comment in if an error occurs.  The comments are not standardized and vary by operator.  I would like to parse this comment column to find patterns in the log to be able to diagnosis or predict issues.  Any thoughts?

Re: Parsing open form comments

Have you tried what you could find with Basic Analysis > Text Explorer ?

I have tried, but I am not understanding how to use it properly.

I suggest you work through the

Additional Example of the Text Explorer Platform

It uses the Aircraft Incident data table, which will show you how to set up your data, and then it walks you through running the Text Explorer
