One way random Effect REML Variance

Hello, I am looking to answer the questions below based on the table. I'm not confidant on any of them but whats really tripping me up is the use of standard deviation and variance language. Are they the same? I am guessing not but am not sure what to do with them. Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: One way random Effect REML Variance

First, welcome to the community.  Sorry for your confusion related to one of JMP outputs.  You can always use the JMP help menu or the "?" and hover over the area in question to get detailed explanations.  In general, the variance is the square of the standard deviation.  Variances are additive, standard deviations are not.
