I'm wondering if any of you ever seen something like this generated with SAS? JMP?
I've also see them be called: social network diagrams, node-link diagrams, network diagrams (force directed and arc) and variations on this theme (adjacency diagrams).
My SESUG 2013 JMP paper (http://www.lexjansen.com/sesug/2013/JMP-01.pdf) described how to produce a speicalized network diagram (interrelationship digraph) using "Associative Arrays in Graph Theory" found in the JMP JSL Scripting guide.
JMP currently does not have this capability. Previous versions (versions 14 and earlier) had some undocumented capabilities to make network diagrams, but this is no longer possible in JMP 15 or JMP 16.
