Layout of JMP Student Edition

I am trying to start an assigment and my home page for JMP student edition looks a lot different than what I need. I will attach photos. I can't figure out why it looks so different. Please help.

You only attached one picture so we cannot compare what it looks/should look like. Picture has JMP19 with dark theme and (temporary) filtered view enabled

You have to have a report open for the Selection tool to be visible as the toolbars are dynamic (by default).

You can control which toolbars are visible in specific window from View > Toolbars (Tools is the one you are looking for)
