JMP 17 Access Violation when connecting to MATLAB

I recently started getting the error below causing JMP to crash when interfacing with MATLAB.

It started out of the sudden, with no obvious updates or problems.  I have tried reinstalling and checking all the MATLAB ROOT paths.

Open the Error information file that was recorded in the location specified in the JMP Error! window.  That might give you an idea as to what the issue is.

Tech support can help too, and will want to see that file as well.
