How to unlock Multiple Columns?

I know many of you may be dealing with big dataset with 100s of millions of rows and hundred columns. One cool feature that I just tried to see if it worked is to how to quickly unlock multiple columns without having to click the title of each column and then selecting column info for each variable you want to unlock. You can do this by either or script or by highlighting the all the selected columns/variables you want to unlock. Once the variable are selected/highlighted, select column info and the drop down menu will display the column settings for all the selected variable at once and you can either unlock or luck a variable column, change data type, modeling type, format as well as column properties all at once.

Re: How to unlock Multiple Columns?

You can also use "Standardize Attributes'.

After selecting all the columns, invoke "Standardize Attributes" from the Cols menu.

Under the Attributes popup, select "Lock".

If the check box is on, uncheck it.

Then click apply.
