How to detect the points of an image outline on Graph Builder

Hello,

I have a JMP data table (attached) with coordinates (X/Y columns) and a variable of interest (COLOR) that I use to create a gradient plot.

In the background, I add a transparent image to see how my variable of interest is distributed across my image. The problem is that I would like the transparent gradient plot to automatically display only on the points in my image and for the background to remain black. I don't know how to detect the points in the image.

Have you ever encountered a similar case?

load the image as a data table into JMP, e.g. via Image to Table from the Marketplace:

select a point in the background, select matching cells - > create subset

align the x/y scale with the scale of the other data table.
merge the tables - use the "mask" as a mask (e.g. via exclude)
